Welcome to the drafts of my life.
Even after 30 years, I have always had trouble with segmenting all of the parts of me – the various roles I take on in life. Meaning, I live out many roles, independent of one another. Daughter, sister, friend, teacher, colleague, writer, neighbor. Such an odd balancing act when these all live in one place.
This project is not just solely because I would love to see old school blogging make a huge comeback, but more to support my love of writing and strengthen my commitment to it. It is also to recognize all of the parts of me as one – all here. Kind of like different tabs, same story. I think exploring all of these roles within one space will further connect here outside of the screen. Who know?
Anyways, whether you are reading this or not, it feels good to be writing again. Enjoy my many notes from the margins.
In fact, I am not all of these things independent of each other. I am who I am because of these varying parts – and in shift of mindset, not despite of.
